Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)
- Statutory Right: UK and EEA customers have the right to withdraw their purchase and request a return within a 14-day “cooling-off period” after receiving the goods. The cooling-off period begins from the day following actual delivery of the goods.
- No Reason Required: During this 14-day period, you can cancel your order without providing any specific reason.
- Notification: To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify our customer support team by email (ceramic@dailyseasoningjar.com) before the 14-day period expires, providing your order number and a clear intention to return the goods.
Return Conditions and Procedures
- Product Condition: To receive a full refund under your return rights, returned items must be in their original condition, unused, unwashed, and include all original packaging, labels, and tags.
- Return Shipping Costs: Unless the item is verified to be defective or damaged upon delivery, the customer is responsible for the direct shipping costs to return the item to us. We strongly recommend using a trackable logistics service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items lost in transit.
- Return Address: Please do not return items to the carrier’s originating address. Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, our customer service team will send you detailed return instructions and the designated return warehouse address via email.
Damaged, Defective, or Faulty Items
- Reporting: We take pride in our ceramic products, but if an item arrives damaged or has obvious manufacturing defects, please report it to us via email within 48 hours of receiving the item. Please provide your order number and clear photographic or video evidence of the defect or damage in the email.
- Assessment: After a thorough review of the evidence you submit, we will provide an appropriate solution, including a brand new replacement or a full/partial refund.
- Goods Processing/Returns: To provide efficient service, if there is sufficient photographic evidence, you may not need to personally return the damaged goods. However, Dailyseasoningjar reserves the final right to require you to return any defective goods for quality control assessment before issuing a refund.
Refund Processing and Timeline
- Original Payment Method: Once your returned goods have been received, inspected, and approved by our processing team, your refund will be authorized. All refunds will be strictly returned to the original payment method used during your initial checkout.
- Refund Time: Please note that while we will initiate the refund process immediately upon approval, the time it takes for the funds to arrive depends on your financial institution. Typically, standard bank card refunds take 5 to 10 business days to appear on your bill.
- Shipping Fee Refund: If you exercise your 14-day return right, we will refund the initial cost of the product. Standard shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (e.g., a defective product).
Shipping Disputes and Undelivered Goods
Expected delivery time is 5 to 12 business days after shipment. If the order fails to arrive within the expected time due to carrier delays or customs detention, we will formally initiate an investigation with the courier company (DHL, FedEx, UPS). If the carrier confirms the package is lost or permanently undeliverable, we will provide a full refund or arrange priority reshipment at no additional cost.
